I have always admired the ladies with soft curled hair. While I own a curling iron, a flat iron and hot rollers, I can't say that I have been blessed with the patience to properly use these tools. So when my hairstylist told me about KISS InstaWave, a fully automatic curling wand that would easily help create sassy curls at home, I was intrigued.
Not only is this hairstyling tool affordable - it retails for $69 in Canada - but it is incredibly efficient. It really requires very little effort in order to achieve natural-looking curls. All you have to do is to place a section of hair across the barrel, press dial and watch your hair twirl around the wand. You then let the heat do its magic for around 8-10 seconds, depending on the types of curls you prefer, before pulling the InstaWave down vertically. And voilà, beautiful waves!
Thanks to its bidirectional curl dial, you can choose which side to curl your hair. I personally prefer to alternate in order to achieve a rather relaxed and undone look. But then again, there is such a wide variety of hairstyles to choose from once you get the hang of it. And you'll see the learning curve is rather short.
|After curling my hair, I like to use the John Frieda Moisture Barrier spray to protect from humidity and the CHI Miss Universe Shine Spray...well to add a nice shine!|
Before using this curling wand, I was a bit worried that my hair would be all tangled up. But no, this scenario never occurred. The KISS InstaWave is such a fuss-free tool that helps create long-lasting waves. I don't think I've been that excited about a gadget since I purchased my Dyson vacuum!
