If you love fashion photography, I am sure you have of heard of the legendary Cecil Beaton and Irving Penn. But have you heard of Horst P. Horst, the German-born photographer mostly known for his elegant work with Vogue? The Victoria and Albert Museum in London had the brilliant idea of paying homage to the master of light, form and composition by putting together a retrospective, which just opened in Montreal at the McCord Museum. I had the pleasure of being invited at the opening preview of the Horst: Photographer of Style and it's simply divine! With more than 250 prints - including plenty of portraits and some stunning Vogue covers - and haute couture dresses to swoon over, this is a must for any fashionista and art lover.
