Oxblood, a deep-brownish red, is THE color for fall.
It's great news since deep wine hues are so easy for everyone to pull off. It's simply a matter of picking the right piece to complement your current wardrobe and to avoid going for a monochromatic look.
One way to embrace this new black is to start with richly colored accessories such as a leather handbag, a sexy pair of shoes, a funky bracelet or an elegant scarf. Another way to dip into this deeply saturated color is to choose a tailored leather jacket or a fitted dress embellished with feminine details such as ruffles or sequins.
A great thing about this robust red is that it goes beautifully with black, navy and grey. Therefore, it will be a piece of cake for you to create new looks with your latest purchase (or purchases!).
Now, here are a few of my favorites pieces for this season:

Tara Jarmon silk dress / Alexander McQueen jacket / KORS Michael Kors boots / Valentino studded shoes / Leather tote / Proenza Schouler leather bag / Leighelena cuff bracelet / Dana Kellin long earrings / Fendi scarf / Stella McCartney cat-eye acetate sunglasses/ Lancôme bright makeup / Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani Sheer lipstick / Giorgio Armani red eyeshadow / Tom Ford beauty nail lacquer/ Voluspa Maison Rouge Figue de Bordeaux' Scented Candle /ACNE Pouch Bordeaux/ Lanvin Miss Sartorial Envelope
Which piece(s) do you fancy most?
