Today, I have decided to share with you some eye-catching and inventive Olympic posters.

But first, here are a few key figures about the Games of the XXX Olympiad, which will start in just a few hours:

Number of times the Olympics have come to London: 3

Number of Olympic Venues: 28

Total workforce needed for the London Games, including paid workers, volunteers and contractors: 200 000

Amount Londoners will contribute to the Olympic and Paralympic: £625m

Estimated global audience expected to watch the Opening Ceremony: 4bn!!
