A few days ago, Karl Lagerfeld introduced his 2013 resort collection for Chanel. The extravagant affair took place in the gardens of Versailles and was reminiscent of Marie-Antoinette's frivolous era.
The models strolled around the Bosquet des Trois-Fontaines introducing a collection were denim, pastel-colored dresses, platform sneakers and pink makeup where the centerpieces.
The colorful event reminded me of the opulence depicted by Sofia Coppola in her whimsical movie Marie-Antoinette.
